Position Description:  
The ServiceNow IRM Sr. Technical Consultant is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of integrated risk management (IRM) solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role is responsible for leading the agile implementation of ServiceNow ensuring that customer risk and compliance requirements are met by leveraging out-of-box capabilities that are configured or tailored according to Templar Shield and ServiceNow best practices. integrating security workflows, enhancing automation, and optimizing security response processes to ensure robust cybersecurity operations in all facets of governance, risk and compliance of professional services. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in conducting IRM stakeholder workshops to identify governance, risk, and compliance (IRM) program current, and future requirements. 

  • Translate business requirements into ServiceNow stories leveraging SCRUM 

  • Assist in conducting product demos to stakeholders for the purpose of client discovery and or project workshops. 

  • Design, configure, and implement ServiceNow (IRM) solutions 

  • Participate in the installation, implementation, configuration, and support of IRM system components. 

  • Develop direct system testing and validation procedures and documentation. 

  • Develop test plans to address specifications and requirements. 

  • Assist the team by providing technical guidance and best practices for ServiceNow IRM implementation and improvements. 

  • Train and mentor junior consultants and administrators on ServiceNow IRM best practices. 

  • Produces and maintains detailed system documentation including design specs, maintenance, troubleshooting, deployment, disaster recovery, tech notes, and testing  

  • Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow IRM and third-party tools   

  • Research and evaluate available IRM technologies to meet customer requirements. 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow IRM functionalities and integrations. 

  • Stay up to date with the latest risk, compliance, and regulatory updates and ServiceNow IRM enhancements. 

  • Work closely with dispersed resources throughout multiple cities and countries. 

 

Candidates will also be asked to support Templar Shield in business development, technical solutions sales, and overall growth of the practice areas. 

  • Support internal sales and client account teams in identifying IRM opportunities. 

  • Support in the creation of proposals, effort, and cost estimates and submit responses to Request for Proposals (RFP's). 

  • Assist in sales pursuits and proposals and assist growing Templar Shield practice areas. 

  • Create a positive working environment by helping to manage workloads of the team balancing client expectations with the work-life quality of team members. 

  • Enhance established Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and or Agile method for design and development various security operations solutions on the IRM platform to ensure all efforts are coordinated and controlled. 

 



Requirements

Technical Knowledge and Skills: 

Candidates will demonstrate skills in areas for the administration, development, documentation and technical support of the ServiceNow platform including: 

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of ServiceNow IRM and related modules 

  • Creating and configuring Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Formatters, in ServiceNow 

  • Application Configuration leveraging SN platform New Experience UI/UX component capabilities, business rules, flow designer, UI builder, UI pages, DB Views and others 

  • Developing across the full stack of Web technologies - Java, JavaScript, React, Angular.js, HTML and CSS 

  • Development of required client specific reporting 

  • Enhance automation and orchestration workflows using ServiceNow Flow Designer. 

  • Develop scripts and custom applications within ServiceNow to extend IRM capabilities. 

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Performance Analytics is a plus. 

Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, with at least 3 years focused on IRM. 

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university. 

  • Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow IRM modules 

  • Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API) and workflow automation. <
