We are seeking a talented Senior Shopify Developer to join our team. You will play a key role in driving the development and execution of Shopify-based e-commerce solutions for our diverse portfolio of client brands. You will work directly with our team, collaborate closely with our clients, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions that align with client goals and objectives.


NOTE: We are only accepting applicants with Shopify Plus experience


Responsibilities

  • Provide eCommerce strategy and guidance for clients wanting to replatform to Shopify.
  • Collaborate with clients, account managers, and creative teams to gather requirements, define project scopes, and recommend technical solutions.
  • Architect and implement custom Shopify themes, features, and functionality tailored to the unique needs and branding of each client.
  • Develop and maintain Shopify apps, integrations, and third-party services to enhance e-commerce capabilities and user experiences.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure adherence to best practices across projects.
  • Proactively identify technical challenges, propose innovative solutions, and implement effective resolutions to optimize client outcomes.
  • Stay updated on Shopify platform updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies, and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from planning and estimation to execution and delivery.


Requirements


  • 5 years of experience in developing and customizing Shopify-based e-commerce solutions, preferably within an agency or consulting environment.
  • Proficiency in Shopify platform architecture, including themes, Liquid, APIs, and app development.
  • Strong expertise in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience leading and managing a team of developers, with a collaborative and client-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a track record of analyzing complex issues and delivering innovative solutions.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, project management tools, and version control systems.
  • Shopify Developer certifications (e.g., Shopify Plus Certified, Shopify App Developer Certification) are a plus.
