Role Summary:
Hasana is seeking a Short-Form Video Editor to help bring our stories to life through engaging social media content. This role focuses on editing reels, TikToks, and other short-form videos that highlight our events, community impact, and humanitarian efforts.
As a volunteer-run nonprofit, Hasana relies on powerful storytelling to amplify its mission, supporting communities locally and providing aid to regions such as Palestine and Lebanon. Your work will directly contribute to raising awareness, inspiring action, and growing our reach.
Responsibilities:
Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and similar platforms
Turn raw event footage into engaging, story-driven content
Add captions, nasheeds, and effects aligned with current social trends
Collaborate with the team to align content with Hasana’s mission
Deliver edits in a timely manner based on agreed timelines
Required Skills:
Ability to work independently and communicate consistently
Experience editing short-form video content (personal or professional)
Familiarity with video-editing tools like CapCut, Final Cut, etc.
Understanding of pacing, hooks, and audience engagement
Alignment with Hasana’s mission and values
Preferred Skills:
Basic color correction and audio editing
Experience working with nonprofit or mission-driven organizations
