The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will operate at the intersection of development and operations, contributing to the reliability, availability, and performance of production systems while supporting development teams in operating services safely and reliably in production.
Ensuring System Reliability & Scalability: Contribute to improving the availability, performance, and scalability of production environments. Support the definition, implementation, and tracking of Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs) through proactive engineering and operational best practices.
Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method. The roles in this function cover development and operational engineering activities required to deliver high-quality, reliable applications and services.
These roles include analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, operations, and delivery. Every role is expected to build quality into each output, evaluate new tools and techniques, automate common tasks, and develop reusable solutions that improve reliability and operational efficiency. Work is primarily self-directed with guidance provided for complex or ambiguous problem areas.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Toil Reduction Through Automation: Apply an automation-first mindset to reduce manual, repetitive operational tasks
- Design and implement automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, reliability, and consistency
- Enhancing Observability & Monitoring: Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to provide visibility into application and infrastructure health
- Develop dashboards and alerts that enable timely detection and effective resolution of incidents
- Supporting DevOps & Reliability Practices: Collaborate with development and platform teams to improve production readiness and operational reliability
- Provide tools, automation, and operational guardrails that support safe and reliable software delivery
- Automating Operational Workflows: Implement automated workflows for provisioning, deployment, scaling, and recovery for existing services and new service onboarding
- Incident Management & Post-mortems: Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and contribute to root cause analysis (post-mortems) and follow-up actions
- Infrastructure Management: Manage and improve cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices with a focus on reliability and efficiency
- Works on moderately complex problems with limited supervision
- Serves as a technical resource and mentor to junior engineers
- AI Builder: Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions using no-code, low-code, and advanced platforms, translating business needs into scalable applications that enhance products, workflows and decision-making
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, or a related operational role supporting production systems
- Experience supporting production environments, including participation in on-call rotations and incident response
- Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience operating infrastructure and applications in a major public cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Working knowledge of distributed systems, cloud computing concepts, and common production failure modes
- Automation Focus: Demonstrated experience automating operational tasks to improve system reliability and engineering efficiency
- Technical Skills & Tech Stack Knowledge:
- Observability Stack: Experience implementing or maintaining monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Elasticsearch, Datadog, Splunk)
- IaC & Configuration Management: Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet)
- Cloud Technologies: Experience working with core cloud services (compute, storage, networking, managed services) on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Containerization & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application operations
- CI/CD & Version Control: Experience contributing to or maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and strong Git fundamentals
- Programming / Scripting: Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Go, Ruby, Java, or C#) used for automation and tooling
