Job Description

  • Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with safety rules and safe working practices.
  • Monitor high‑risk activities such as working at height, lifting operations, hot works, confined space works, and energy isolation (LOTO).
  • Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors; issue corrective actions and follow up on closure.
  • Review and verify subcontractors’ method statements, JHAs, and risk assessments before work begins.
  • Ensure workers possess valid training certificates, PPE, and authorization where required.
  • Maintain safety logs, inspection reports, incident records, and permit-to-work documentation.
  • Report and assist in investigating incidents, near-misses, and unsafe observations.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions in coordination with the HSE team.
  • Support emergency response drills and ensure emergency equipment is in proper condition.
  • Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and hazard communication sessions.
  • Educate workers on safe practices, hazard identification, and equipment handling.
  • Promote a strong site safety culture through engagement and proactive communication.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Construction, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in construction site safety, preferably in industrial, logistics, or manufacturing projects.
  • Knowledge of Vietnamese safety regulations and relevant standards.
  • Ability to identify hazards, enforce rules, and communicate clearly with workers at all levels.
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid safety certifications are an advantage (e.g., First Aid, Fire Safety, Confined Space Entry).
