Job Description

Our remote DoD SkillBridge internships provide real-world job experience, training, and skills development. We purposefully designed our program to give interns a head start on transitioning from military service to civilian employment while still enjoying the safety net of full pay and benefits from the military.

Along the way, our team is committed to helping you connect with people in your desired industry, providing world-class training, and helping you discover mentors who can help guide your career for years to come. 

We are seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Graphic Designer with expertise in Canva to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, creativity, and the ability to produce engaging and visually appealing graphics that will help elevate our brand and drive business growth.

You might be a natural fit if you worked in a Public Affairs office in the military, design memes for social media, or design fliers for personal and family events.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and create visual content for various marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Develop and produce graphics for social media, email newsletters, blog posts, presentations, and other marketing collateral using Canva and other graphic design tools
  • Work with other designers and team members to brainstorm new ideas and strategies for our marketing campaigns
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously


RequirementsEligibility for DoD SkillBridge Sales Internship

Open to all qualified transitioning active-duty U.S. service members, both officer and enlisted, of any rank and branch, especially those with previous military recruiting experience. Must have at least 90 days of active duty service remaining before the date of separation and have obtained approval or be in the approval process from the unit/command.

Qualifications

We hire for character and train for skill at BufferSprings. If you can show us you have a knack for design and can pick up new skills quickly, we can train the rest. Here are the skills we’re looking for in this role.

  • Proven experience as a graphic designer with expertise in Canva (or equivalent).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • We are a remote company, so you must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
