This Team Lead will mentor and lead a group of operators that will operate within the SMA Kanban area to assist with the monitoring and delivery of components to the production line. The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan (select STV or SIP): Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

What you will do:
- Production Execution: Develop and oversee daily/weekly production plans to hit output goals, leading daily meetings to ensure alignment and accountability.
- Inventory & Kanban Leadership: Lead the SMA Kanban team in accurate material storage, X-ray counting, and strict adherence to inventory accuracy KPIs.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for SMA material deliveries, coordinating closely with Planning and Warehouse to ensure punctual component retrieval for all builds.
- Technical Proficiency: Master Valor hardware/software systems for component processing and lead efficient product changeovers while maintaining 5S and cleanliness standards.
- Team Development & Mentorship: Resolve operator conflicts, provide performance feedback, and support technical trainers to ensure a positive onboarding and growth experience for the team.
- Safety & Compliance Advocacy: Enforce safety procedures and PPE usage, lead wellness stretches and strictly adhere to all quality and environmental guidelines.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Proactively escalate issues through proper channels (Engineering, Quality, Maintenance) and serve as a backup for Supervisors as needed.
