Social Media Account Manager SociallyIn | Atlanta, GA (Remote) | $75,000–$90,000

We're hiring a Social Media Account Manager, and this isn't a typical AM role.

SociallyIn is a 100% social media-focused agency. Not "social plus a bunch of other stuff." Just social. We've been operating for 15 years, we're 50 people strong, and we're actively investing in how AI changes the way agencies work. We're hiring a Social Media Account Manager to own client relationships, drive strategy, and grow accounts. We want someone who's genuinely curious about where this industry is headed and inherently, naturally, gloriously social, both online and off!

This is a senior-track role for someone who wants real ownership, not a glorified project manager seat. You are responsible for managing and strengthening relationships with our clients from start to finish.

What you'll own:

  • Lead the charge for client accounts with strategy, content curation, distribution, and engagement
  • 4-8 client accounts as the primary point of contact and strategic lead
  • Leading day-to-day communication for multiple client accounts
  • Building strong, trusted relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Social strategy development, content direction, and performance optimization across all major platforms
  • Influencer identification, outreach, and campaign management when applicable
  • Leading client calls, presentations, reporting discussions, and strategic conversations
  • Managing projects, timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination
  • Client growth, identifying expansion opportunities, and making the case for them
  • Cross-functional collaboration with creative production, paid media, and strategy  teams
  • Social listening for trending content, conversations, topics, events, and news
  • Ensuring clients feel supported, informed, and confident in the partnership
  • Stay updated with industry trends, algorithm changes, and platform updates to ensure best results for clients
  • Monitor, analyze, and report social media data to track performance against key performance indicators
  • Performance reporting and storytelling that translates data into decisions

What success looks like in 90 days:

  • You've built trust with every client in your book
  • You've identified at least one optimization or growth opportunity per account
  • You're actively experimenting with AI tools to sharpen your work
  • Your clients see you as a strategic partner, not a vendor

Where this role can go. Our strongest AMs grow into Senior AM, Group Account Director, or Strategy Lead roles within 2-3 years. We promote from within first. If you want to eventually run a team, own a client vertical, or shape agency strategy - there's a clear path here, and we'll build it with you.

What you bring to the table:

  • 5-8 years of social media account management experience
    • 2-3 years of agency experience required
  • Strong grasp of social KPIs and the ability to analyze performance data to inform strategy
  • Creative mindset with experience in campaign planning and idea generation
  • Consistent track record of success in developing social media campaigns, and management of social media communities, with responsibilities in day-to-day management, growth strategies, paid media, measurement, engagement campaigns and content strategy.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and willingness to experiment with new tools and workflows
  • Excellent written communication - you can write a brief, an email, and a caption with equal skill
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Confidence in client-facing conversations with senior marketing leaders
  • A genuine interest in social media as a discipline
  • Innate curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit

What we offer

  • Salary: $75,000–$90,000, DOE (exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience)

Benefits you’ll enjoy as a member of our team:

  • Remote-friendly with daily morning team standups
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Uncapped PTO
  • Parental leave
  • Paid volunteer time
  • Home office allowance
  • Learning Credit
  • Direct exposure to senior leadership and a fast-moving, experimentation-friendly environment
  • & more (See our careers page for full details)

You'll have a real seat at the table. This isn't an agency where leadership is a distant org chart. You'll work directly with our founder and leadership team, your ideas will get heard, and the work you do will shape where the agency goes next.
