Output-based · Fully remote · $1,500/month · Annual performance bonuses

About Arno

Arno is a leading preparation platform for English proficiency tests, serving over 250,000 students worldwide. We provide AI-powered practice questions, full-length mock tests, instant scoring, personalized feedback, and personalized study plans. We're a fast-moving startup building the future of English test preparation, and in 2026, we're expanding our coverage to include PTE Academic, TOEFL, IELTS, and TOEIC alongside our flagship Duolingo English Test (DET) product.

The Role

You'll own Arno's social media presence for TOEFL in Korea, a key growth market for us. You'll combine your knowledge of English test preparation with a deep understanding of what resonates with Korean audiences to build a following from the ground up.

This role does not require that you live in Korea. You just need to know the Korean market well.

Responsibilities

  • Produce one piece of content per day — a reel, post, or story — and publish it across the relevant platform(s)

  • Develop content that educates, engages, and converts Korean students preparing for TOEFL

  • Monitor performance metrics (views, engagement, follower growth, click-throughs) and use them to iterate on your content strategy

  • Stay current on platform trends and adapt formats for the Korean social media landscape

Requirements

  • Native Korean speaker with strong written and verbal communication skills in both Korean and English

  • Full English fluency (C1+ CEFR level)

  • Experience teaching English as a second language

  • A demonstrated passion for creating high-performing social media content

  • A track record of using metrics to iterate on and improve content

  • Deep knowledge of what content succeeds on different social media platforms

  • Video editing proficiency (CapCut, Premiere, or similar)

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with the TOEFL exam

Compensation

  • $1,500 USD/month, output-based (1 piece of content per day)

  • Annual performance bonus based on individual contribution and company results

  • Payment via Wise in your currency of choice (converted from USD at the prevailing rate at time of payment)

Working Style

This is a fully remote, output-based role. You have full flexibility over when and how you work, as long as content goes out daily. You don't need to be based in Korea; you just need to know the market well. We're a low-meeting team. You'll report directly to Otto, co-founder and CEO.
