Intel's Foundry Automation team is looking for a dynamic self-starter to join our Yield and Engineering Analysis team for developing software applications used in Intel semiconductor manufacturing worldwide factories. The team develops and supports mission critical and mission important applications essential for controlling, monitoring, and improving technology manufacturing at Intel's network of semiconductor fabrication facilities around the world.

As a member of this team, you will work with our customers to collect requirements, design, develop, test/debug, document, and support the software applications. Our software application development typically spans the full application stack including both frontend and backend application development with emphasis on delivering great user experience.

We have a dynamic work environment with new requests coming in from a variety of customers. We have a strong cohesive team of developers to train and collaborate with you.

The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with users to define requirements/user stories.
  • Designing, coding, and testing the applications to meet the requirements/stories.
  • Working with the users and peer developers to test the application in the production fabrication and factory environments.
  • Training and supporting users in the use of the applications.

A successful candidate will have proven experience demonstrating the following skills and behavioral traits:

  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills, Teamwork skills and partnership skills, Tolerance of ambiguity and self-motivation.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 5 years' experience with Object-oriented software design and development skills on C# or .NET or Python.
  • 3 years' Experience with modern development tools (Visual Studio or GitHub or Jira or CI/CD).
  • 3 years' experience Microsoft or Oracle database technologies (inc. SQL).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior Experience in Yield and Engineering Analytics
  • Master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Prior Experience in Data visualization and summarization using Python and modern web technologies.
  • Prior Experience in cloud native and microservice development and architectures.
  • Prior Experience in Container solutions such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Prior Experience in Microsoft or Linux operating systems.
  • Prior Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable Mission Critical systems.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

$113,130.00-$159,710.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
