Our client is a publicly-traded organization in the financial services industry that specializes in insurance product offerings. As a globally recognized brand, this company has found success in niche markets for over five decades and counting.

They need you, an experienced Software Development Manager, to join the growing team located in Austin, Texas. Please note, this is a HYBRID role based in Austin, TX.

What you get to do:
-Manage a growing team of experienced software engineers working with C#/.NET

-Provide technical leadership to the development team and ensure adherence to SDLC best practices

-Create a diverse development team, taking ownership of recruiting, performance management, and career growth opportunities

-Lead multiple initiatives of various sizes simultaneously in this Kanban-style environment

Qualifications

What you need to succeed:
-2+ years of software team leadership/management experience

-4+ years of previous hands-on software development experience working with C#/.NET

-Proven ability to manage software development engineers in Kanban environment(s)

-Excellent understanding of SDLC best practices with the ability to bring projects to completion on time and within budget

-Previous insurance industry experience isn’t required to be successful in this role, but is a major plus!
