Responsibilities
  • Work with DoD Civilians, USN Fleet Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Industry and other contractors in the planning and execution of trainer development using simulation technologies.
  • Maintain expert level understanding of generating Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) & Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) imagery using the Boeing Multi-Mode Radar Simulation (MMRS) in conjunction with Aechelon Image Generators (IG).
  • Ensure geospatial raster and vector data are properly handled by a map server to accurately display geospatial visuals and behavior to system operators.
  • Performs analysis, diagnostics and preliminary evaluations of RADAR simulation applications to support customer training efforts.
  • Support integration effort to identify and resolve performance issues, enhancements, and defect resolution for all aspects of the simulation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 13+ years of related work experience
  • US Citizenship & a minimum of a current TOP SECRET clearance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Expert level experience in at least three of the following: Next Generation Threat System (NGTS), Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) & Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR), Boeing Multi-Mode Radar Simulation (MMRS),  Aechelon Image Generators (IG)
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Pay Transparency StatementAMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $95.00/Hr. - USD $100/Hr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
