Job Description

Software Engineer Senior Consultant implements applications following 12-factor principles to build out the product and iterative enhancements. They own the full stack of software products, developing and implementing frontends (web or mobile), and backend services. They leverage test driven development and continuous integration to ensure agility and quality of products. They actively participate in the decision-making process of the team ensuring that the simplest appropriate technology and design is chosen to meet user needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Dependable and collaborative member of an agile development team

• Creates and enhances .NET APIs in a fast-paced environment.

• Provides input into the architecture and design of APIs being developed; collaborating with the team in solving problems.

• Participates in executing the strategy, keeping the customer needs and wants in mind

• Grows into an expert on the business domain and demonstrates leadership and accountability across the set of APIs owned by the team.

• Coaches more junior team members around different technologies and development practices

• Works with DevOps Team to support continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practices

• Provides support for software products deployed across the various environments

• Leads and participates in daily team standups and various sprint ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.

• Participates in code review process.

Education

• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience, Skills, and Competencies:

• 3 or more years of experience building .net applications or APIs preferably using C#.

• Proficient writing queries and stored procedures for SQL databases.  Preferably experience with MS SQL Server.

• Proficient in data modeling within relational databases.

• Solid working knowledge of ORM technologies such as Entity Framework.

• Solid grasp of object-oriented design and development.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $85,600 - $134,620.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
