As a Software Engineer Principal Senior within PNC's Data and Automation organization, you will be based in Dallas, TX.
The Software Engineer Principal Senior role functions as the principal technical lead and engineering authority for enterprise governance products, translating architecture into scalable, production-ready platforms.
The role requires deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native platforms, enterprise data governance, AI engineering, agent frameworks, semantic technologies, and large-scale software development.
Enterprise Governance Platform Engineering - Lead design and development of next-generation governance platforms.
GenAI Solution Engineering - Lead implementation of AI-powered governance capabilities.
Agentic Workflow Design & Engineering - Lead the design and implementation of enterprise agent frameworks supporting autonomous governance operations.
Knowledge Graph & Semantic Platform Development - Lead implementation of enterprise semantic technology platforms.

  • Leads the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions across multiple product lines.
  • Directs and consults on all phases of software engineering life cycle and troubleshoots technical problems as needed using agile methods.
  • Leads complex problem solving and resolves workflow problems through automation optimization.
  • Monitors security technology trends and ensures the adaptability of techniques to various system architectures. Encourages sound technology choices are made and drive innovative technology architecture and solution design.
  • Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues and solution development.
