Job Title: Software Engineer Principal

Worksite: 8840 Cypress Waters Blvd, Suite 190, Coppell, TX 75019  

Job duties: Responsible for operational direction and overall governance of all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment for default and special loans modules in Dara Platform. Engage with functional SMEs and business to develop micro front-end and micro-service based systems that will integrate with API first systems. Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards for code quality and application design. Perform periodic code coverage checks and collaborate with team. Perform RCA for any bugs in all environments. Perform test results analysis, post execution of testing, and provide feedback on areas of improvements in quality. Drive a feedback loop mechanism to ensure the best software development practices are followed to improve overall quality. Up to 60% telework permitted. Must be willing to relocate to various unanticipated work locations throughout the U.S.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 7 years in any job title involving experience in Agile project management and software design, development, testing, and deployment. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 5 years in any job title involving experience in Agile project management and software design, development, testing, and deployment. Prior experience must include: Experience with microservices, micro frontends, event driven applications; Experience with Azure DevOps tools; Executing and monitoring test cases; Experience with Agile methodology; and Experience working with Burndown Charts.
