As a Software Engineer working on the Caterpillar eFlow application, you will be responsible for designing and engineering software solutions to educate users of historical usage and trends related to machine energy consumption. In addition, you will develop resource planning and scheduling solutions to manage energy storage system, machine charging schedules and optimizing site energy costs. Given the electrification transition for heaving equipment is in incubation, this program enables candidates' ample opportunity to innovate and apply leading edge technology to solve business problems.

What You Will Do:
- Develop frontend React Single Page Application components and modules.
- Collaborate with backend and data engineers to design optimal services architecture to meet user experience expectations.
- Apply robust testing strategies to ensure quality, bug free solutions during develop and user acceptance testing.
- Comply with cybersecurity standards (OAuth2, HTTPS,TLS/SSL) and best practices resulting in positive security score.
- Participate in Agile activities including backlog grooming, story estimation, demos and retrospectives.
- Diagnose production issues reported by end users and implement proper resolution.
- Incorporate GenAI processing and tooling to increase developer productivity.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand system features, product strategy and business processes.
What you will have:
- Software Development: Knowledge of software development tools and activities; ability to produce software products or systems in line with product requirements.
- Software Product Design/Architecture: Knowledge of software product design; ability to convert market requirements into the software product design.
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

- Experience analyzing and applying GenAI solutions to business problems.
- Solid understanding of machine telemetry concepts, general machine performance characteristics.
- Experience developing compelling visuals to communicate machine performance and utilization.
