Team description:
The Ad Creative Management (ACM) team owns one of the most challenging problems for our customers when they are creating an ad campaign. ACM empowers all advertisers to effortlessly strategize, create, and launch optimized ad creatives. Creative is the top contributor to performance for ads, and can often take the most work to get right. ACM builds the foundation for handling assets like images, videos, and headlines, and also owns the user experience of accessing, editing, and generating these assets. ACM also spearheads our org’s investment in advanced tools like generative AI to solve the problems of our customers, as we look to increase performance for, and increase the productivity of, the humans coming to our platform.
We are a full-stack team, leading the product development powering a core pillar of our business. We are looking for a product-focused fullstack engineering leader who will drive the Ad Creative Management team forward and is eager to collaborate across multiple teams and organizations to ensure success for our customers and our business.
Your team will:
- Build products to acquire, create, launch, and optimize creatives and assets for advertisers
- Deliver a user experience that’s intuitive for our advertisers as they navigate how to build ads efficiently
- Apply the latest technologies to the problems of our customers, including LLMs and AI
- Collaborate closely across all of Reddit Ads while leading on our org’s top priorities
- Increase performance and decrease effort for advertisers by making better results, and a better experience for our consumer reddit users, easier to achieve
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and grow a team of fullstack engineers
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to discover and build new Ad functionality and products. Be a thought leader in this process.
- Maintain and enhance the team culture of fast iteration, experimentation, and collaboration.
- Ensure the long term success of both the product and the growth of our people
- Participate in and be the ultimate owner of the full development cycle: product ideation, design, development, QA, experimentation, analysis, and launch. You’ll be brainstorming, giving feedback on design docs, product specs and mocks, and generally helping out wherever is needed.
- Collaborate with multiple teams across the entire company to make SMBs successful on reddit
- Grow your own skills, capabilities, and impact, and care about getting better.

Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership experience working across multiple teams
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering
- Experience partnering with product managers and designers
- Knowledge of full stack product development practices (Frontend and Backend)
- Knowledge of social products, ad products, or advertiser tooling

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission.
