About the role

The Software Product Owner supports the discovery, definition, and delivery of product features that advance Bloom Growth’s product strategy and customer experience. This role bridges business needs and engineering execution, ensuring that product work is clearly defined, prioritized, and aligned with customer outcomes.


This position works closely with Engineering, Design, and Product leadership to translate customer problems into clear, actionable product work. The role emphasizes leveraging AI tools to accelerate product research, improve documentation, and support data-informed product decisions.


What you'll do

  • Write and refine user stories with clear success criteria based on jobs to be done, or a similar framework, leveraging AI tools to accelerate drafting, research and synthesis
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog for assigned product areas, balancing user needs, business impact, and technical considerations
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define, scope, and deliver product features, including AI-powered capabilities within the Bloom Growth platform
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
  • Gather and analyze user feedback, usage data, and market insights to inform product decisions and validate direction
  • Use AI tools to enhance product workflows including research, documentation, competitive analysis, and stakeholder communication
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Design, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales to ensure alignment on priorities and delivery
  • Identify and communicate risks, dependencies, and blockers that may impact product timelines
  • Support the development of requirements for AI-driven features to ensure they are well-defined and technically feasible
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, experimentation, and learning within the product team
  • Ensure work is clearly defined and ready for development to support the team’s 1-week sprint cycles

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 1–3 years of experience in a product management, project management, or business analyst role
  • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience in sprint-based development environments
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools such as AI-assisted writing, prompt engineering, or copilot-style productivity tools
  • Familiarity with SaaS product development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fully remote work environment
  • Ability to participate in and support product discussions and decision-making
Preferred:
  • Experience with or understanding of growth operating systems such as EOS, Bloom Growth, Scaling Up, or similar frameworks
  • Experience working in a B2B SaaS environment, particularly serving small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs)
  • Direct experience using AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to enhance workflow efficiency
  • Experience supporting or defining AI-enabled product features
  • Familiarity with product analytics tools such as PostHog, Mixpanel, Pendo, or similar platforms
  • Experience collaborating with Engineering, Design, and customer-facing teams
Compensation

The expected base salary range for this role is $70,000–$120,000 USD, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location. Bloom Growth™ follows an equitable, market-aligned compensation philosophy to ensure fairness and consistency across our fully remote team.

Location Eligibility

This role is open to candidates permanently residing in the United States, excluding California and New York. Bloom Growth adjusts compensation based on geographic market data to maintain internal equity.
