Brown & Brown is Seeking a Solutions Architect, AI - Data to join our growing team.

The Solution Architect – AI / Data is responsible for designing and delivering enterprise-grade architectures that integrate artificial intelligence and data platforms into core business operations. This role bridges strategy and execution, translating business needs into scalable, secure, and modular technical solutions that support intelligent automation, advanced analytics, and data-driven decision-making.

Working across teams, the architect ensures that AI models and data pipelines are interoperable, governed, and aligned with enterprise standards. The role also supports innovation by identifying opportunities to embed AI into retail workflows, improve operational efficiency, and unlock new value streams. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, architectural rigor, and business acumen to guide the organization’s data and AI transformation.

How You Will Contribute

  • Define modular, API-driven, and event-based integration strategies for AI and data systems.
  • Develop architectural blueprints for AI model deployment, data pipelines, and business application interoperability.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise security, governance, and performance standards.
  • Design workflows for ingesting, transforming, and serving data to AI models.
  • Implement real-time and batch inference patterns for AI services.
  • Optimize pipelines for latency, throughput, and cost efficiency.
  • Evaluate and recommend platforms such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and API Gateways.
  • Champion MLOps and DataOps practices across teams.
  • Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and mentor engineering teams on AI/data architecture.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, ML engineers, and business analysts to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide technical oversight during implementation phases.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, protection, and audit requirements.
  • Establish governance frameworks for AI model thresholds, exceptions, and lifecycle management.

Skills & Experience to Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, with 3+ years focused on AI and data integration.
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to rapidly learn and apply new technologies, frameworks, and tools—ensuring architectural decisions reflect the latest advancements in AI, data engineering, and cloud-native design.
  • Proficiency in Azure (Data Lake, Synapse, ML Studio), Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and/or Scala.
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and MLOps practices.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Kubernetes) and multi-cloud environments

Pay Range

$130,000 - $150,000 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
