The Solution Architect is a key role responsible for leading, designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions that meet the strategic and operational needs of an organization with the core focus on identity, access management, and security. Responsibilities

  • Engage with client executive and technical stakeholders to design and build scalable, flexible, and resilient solutions.  
  • Develop comprehensive solutions aligned with business objectives, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, efficiency, and cost. 
  • Provide expert level client-collateral including architectural drawings, design specifications, implementation guides, documentation, and operational procedures.  
  • Lead technical teams in the development and deployment of cloud solutions, providing expert guidance, and resolving complex technical challenges.  
  • Ensure cloud solutions meet security and compliance standards, including data protection, encryption, access control, and regulatory requirements.  
  • Implement cost-effective strategies to maximize return-on-investment for our clients. 
  • Lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the cloud solution architect community.   
  • Keep current of emerging technologies and industry trends, identify innovative solutions, and recognize opportunities for efficiency.  
  • Lead engagement teams, delegate responsibilities, and mentor fellow consultants.  
  • Work within the sales process to lead technical whiteboards, scope projects, create sales collateral, and present to C-Level executives.  
  • Review technical documentation and sales collateral for punctual and technical correctness.  
  • Identify new engagement offerings, create client deliverable templates, and revise existing client deliverables as needed.  
  • Identify future engagement opportunities during existing client engagements and convey those needs to account executives and practice leadership.  
  • Effective communication skills to interact with clients, understand their requirements, and convey technical information in a clear and concise manner.  
  • Write & present statements of work 
  • Lead and coordinate implementation & migration projects, ensuring they stay on track and within scope.  
  • Maintain exposure to market trends and business productivity improvement opportunities.  
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to listen and communicate well with clients 
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop rapport with client technical staff, excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 5+ year of experience architecting and delivering Microsoft 365 identity and security solutions
  • 5+ year of experience with Microsoft Identity tools such as Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM), Microsoft Entra ID Goverance, Microsoft Entra External ID, Microsoft Entra (HR Provisioning, Cloud Sync, CLoud Provisioning), Multi-Factor Authentication, Single Sign-On, Conditional Access Policies, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience with Defender Suite (Endpoint, Vulnerability Management, Servers, Cloud, Cloud Apps, Office, XDR, Identity)
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Purview (Information Protection, Security and Compliance Center, Data Loss Prevention, Compliance Manager, Customer Key, Data Lifecycle Management, Insider Risk Management, Information Barriers)
  • 5+ year of experience with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity concepts 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 cloud solutions 
  • Microsoft 365 management and administration  
  • Advanced automation skills (PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, etc.)
