As part of the OFSE Digital Technology team, you will help define and deliver architecture that powers quoting, pricing, order management, sales execution, and commercial workflows. As a Solution Architect – SAP Sales & Commercial, you will lead the end‑to‑end architectural design, governance, and integration strategy for critical sales and commercial capabilities. You’ll translate complex business requirements into scalable and sustainable designs while ensuring systems operate cohesively as part of an integrated enterprise landscape. Working alongside business, product, and engineering teams—and in close partnership with the Head of Enterprise Systems Delivery—you will shape architecture standards, guide platform decisions, steer vendor partners, and ensure delivery aligns to enterprise principles. This is a highly impactful role where your technical depth, cross‑functional collaboration, and architectural leadership will directly influence how OFSE executes commercially and serves customers.

The Solution Architect – Sales & Commercial is responsible for leading the end‑to‑end architectural design and governance of enterprise solutions that support sales, commercial, and customer‑facing processes. This role ensures that technology solutions supporting quoting, pricing, sales operations, and commercial execution are scalable, secure, and integrated across the broader enterprise ecosystem.

As a Solution Architect – SAP Sales & Commercial, you will be responsible for:

  • Owning the solution architecture for Sales & Commercial capabilities across major enterprise programs.
  • Translating complex business requirements into clear, scalable, secure, and sustainable technical solutions.
  • Serving as the technical integrator across platforms supporting sales and commercial processes, ensuring solutions operate cohesively rather than as isolated components.
  • Working closely with business, sales, commercial, pricing, and operations teams to understand objectives, constraints, and end‑to‑end process needs.
  • Leading architectural efforts across quoting, pricing, order management, commercial workflows, approvals, and related processes.
  • Defining architectural patterns, standards, and guidelines that ensure long‑term maintainability, quality, and performance.
  • Overseeing integration design with upstream and downstream systems such as CRM, ERP, pricing engines, contract management, and fulfillment systems.
  • Guiding engineering teams through detailed solution design, ensuring alignment with architectural intent and enterprise delivery principles.
  • Evaluating and direct vendor partners, ensuring high‑quality design and adherence to enterprise standards.
  • Promoting reuse, modularity, and standardized patterns to reduce technical debt and improve delivery velocity.
  • Supporting major transformation initiatives from concept through deployment and stabilization.
  • Staying informed on emerging commercial technologies, architecture approaches, and enterprise integration patterns relevant to sales and commercial domains.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 10+ years of experience in enterprise systems delivery, solution design, or architecture supporting sales, commercial, or customer‑facing functions.
  • Have proven experience architecting solutions within complex, multi‑platform enterprise environments.
  • Have strong understanding of sales and commercial processes including quoting, pricing, discounting, approvals, order management, and related value streams.
  • Have hands‑on experience designing integrations, workflows, and data flows across enterprise platforms.
  • Have strong communication and advisory skills, capable of influencing stakeholders across business and technical teams.
  • Have experience working in large, global, matrixed organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work at both strategic and deeply technical levels.
  • Have vendor engagement and management experience, with strong ability to guide and assess technical design quality.
  • Have passion for emerging technology and continuous improvement within enterprise solution architecture.
