About the Role: 

In this role, you will be part of the Converge Technology team, serving as a liaison between technical and cyber underwriting aspects to ensure solutions meet organizational goals. You will be reporting to the Head of Engineering. 

Responsibilities: 

• Own digital integrations with external partners from beginning to end, including maintaining SLAs, and establishing detailed reports on integration progress and feedback 

• Analyze and understand business requirements from both technical and cyber underwriting aspects 

• Identify, design and document technology solutions that scale 

• Evaluate the effectiveness of solutions by working with customers and stakeholders, and identify necessary adjustments 

• Deliver multiple cross functional projects in parallel 

• Work with different team members and stakeholders representing all areas of the business across multiple timezones within the US 

• Regularly prepare and present content to stakeholders within Converge 

• Maintain Python GraphQL APIs to expose data to both internal and external stakeholders 

• Develop & maintain Python scripts to import & export data 

Qualifications: 

• 8+ years professional experience in production facing Python development 

• BS in Computer Science or relevant field 

• Experience with Docker Containers 

• Experience with the AWS PaaS, including but not limited to… 

o MWAA 

o ECR & ECS Fargate 

• Experience with Graph databases, SQL, NoSQL, Data Lakes and other data storage technologies 

• Working knowledge of databases. Knowledge of GraphDBs, Neo4j & Cypher is a huge plus. 

• Proficiency using APIs. GraphQL is a huge plus. 

• Proficient understanding of version control best practices using Git 

• Insurance experience is a huge plus 

Education: 

• Bachelor's degree 

Physical Requirements:  

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer  

• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally

Compensation & Benefits:  

• Pay Range: $130,000 – $175,000 annually (commensurate with experience and location)  

• Total Compensation Context: This role may be eligible for annual performance bonuses and equity participation
