As a Partner Manager at PTC, you will play a pivotal role in fostering and managing relationships with Solution Providers to drive pipeline growth, revenue generation, and service excellence for PTC’s customers and prospects. You will be responsible for aligning Solution Providers with the PTC ecosystem, ensuring they differentiate themselves effectively in the market.

In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between PTC Solution Providers and internal business units, facilitating collaboration and business development. Your responsibilities will include supporting partners in their growth initiatives, advocating for their needs within PTC, and enabling their success through strategic alignment.

This position blends sales, business development, business execution, and channel management, with a strong focus on revenue expansion and long-term partnership success. By cultivating strong relationships and driving impactful strategies, you will contribute to the overall health and competitiveness of PTC’s partner ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Solution Providers go-to market strategies for all segments in alignment with PTC’s Partner Program Guidelines
  • Lead enablement requirements for Sales, Pre-Sales Post-Technical Support and implementations
  • Align with Partner Marketing and PTC Marketing to define and execute the pipeline generation strategy
  • Work with Partners to accurately forecast all Solution Provider segment sales
  • Align Partners with PTC Extended Ecosystem to assist with the GTM Strategy and program adherence & success
  • Position and create a governance model to align that all Partners are consistently driving pipeline & sales

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and sales-oriented professional, capable of clearly positioning the value of PTC Partners within PTC and to PTC customers. This person must present strong interpersonal and communication skills and superior problem-solving skills in order to successfully engage with internal and external stakeholders.

Partner Manager Primary Job Responsibilities:

This position is accountable for securing, managing, and capitalizing on the business relationship with our PTC Partners at the portfolio and geography level. Core responsibilities include:

  • Partner Business Planning
  • Program Management
  • Partner Enablement & Training
  • Partner Marketing Management
  • Pipeline Management

Skills & Knowledge:

  • PTC Partner Managers must demonstrate strong experience in Partner management and/or sales along with deep knowledge of solution provider and System Integrator or reseller channel business planning and execution. 
  • This role must have a strong financial and/or strategic planning and execution background and the ability to work comfortably with Partners.
  • A working knowledge of sales processes and PTC products is essential.
  • Excellent oral/written communication & listening skills necessary to present information, analysis & recommendations to all levels of employees, including executive management.
  • Extensive knowledge of Partner Sales and the third-party reseller business model

Education:

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Masters degree is an advantage, but not required

Experience Level:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Prior Experience as a Channel Account Manager or Partner Manager for System Integrators
  • Experience in working with Software vendors within the Manufacturing industry is a Plus
