We work together, we are brilliantly creative, we embrace difference and we want you to help us in our mission, as a Solutions Architect.Take a look at our website here to learn more about why we’re one of the leading Software Escrow businesses… Escode  The Opportunity:As a Solution Architect within NCC Group’s Escode division, you will be a technical specialist across a broad range of Software Escrow services to our clients and technology partners.  Your core focus is to be a technical point of contact both internally and externally, supporting revenue growth through predominantly existing clients.As a Solution Architect, you will have good knowledge of Software Application Development and Cloud Infrastructure, working alongside Sales, Legal and Technical Operations Teams, to create market leading solutions.Role Purpose:

  • Attendance of client conference calls or onsite meetings establishing and documenting complex technical requirements to support the Account Management team in their positioning of our technical services.
  • Quality assurance of complex client-facing documents, including proposals and methodology literature, to ensure the solution proposed by NCC Group meets the client’s requirements, and that the time allowed in the proposals is sufficient to perform the work in scope.
  • Provision of technical scoping information to internal resources to establish correct delivery methodology and associated timescales. This information will be primarily via written form, but will include face-to-face discussions, or over the telephone, as required.
  • Completing regional technical documentation and submit project deliverables to the highest quality.

  • Creation of Solution Design Documentation to ensure accurate transfer of solution and requirements to the Scheduling Team and delivering Verification Consultant.
  • Acting as an escalation point for technical assistance required by Verification Consultant delivering the Verification exercises.
  • In situations that require a hybrid agile approach, use good judgement and experience to develop and promote any process improvement initiatives that are suitable for planning and managing the effort to achieve service delivery within designated project constraints.
  • Ensuring and enforcing a regional focus on all initiatives with regular engagement to regional stakeholders.
  • Prepare for and conduct read-out calls with a customer following a technical delivery to walk through the deliverables and confirm that their objectives have been met.
  • Use read out calls to identify opportunities to upsell / cross-sell and feed this information back to the Account Management team

Essential Skills:   

  • Strong presales/technical consultancy skills including risk mitigation, stakeholder management, reporting, and time management.
  • Demonstrable experience managing and successfully consulting external/client facing delivery projects.
  • The ability to hold technical conversations and absorb technical information. Experience in a similar role would be highly beneficial.
  • Demonstrable understanding of complex, full life-cycle software development projects in Agile framework.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels including external.
  • Well versed and competent in reporting, document generation and technical plans/designs.
  • Commercially savvy with the ability to understand and recommend commercial propositions
