About us

At Roadrunner, we’re replacing the broken CPQ software that Sales teams have complained about, worked around, and given up on for years. Not improving it - replacing it. We’re building a new agentic stack called PQA - Prompt, Quote, Approve, designed for the enterprise, on a data model built for how pricing actually works today.

We’re Kleiner Perkins’ first incubation since Glean, led by second-time founders with successful exits, and a team of engineers from Snowflake, Databricks, Citadel, Meta, Robinhood, Brex, and so on. We’re in-person in San Francisco, and we’re just getting started.

What you’ll do
  • Own the full technical relationship on strategic deals, from initial demo through post-close implementation, serving as the customer’s trusted advisor and primary technical point of contact.

  • Design and deliver tailored demos and POCs that showcase how Roadrunner’s PQA stack fits into a customer’s existing CRM, ERP, and broader enterprise architecture.

  • Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities, build technical credibility with IT and business stakeholders, and remove technical blockers early in the sales cycle.

  • Lead post-sale technical onboarding: gather requirements, architect integration solutions, and work hands-on with implementation engineers to bring customers live and scale.

  • Translate real-world customer needs into actionable product insights for Engineering and Product teams.

  • Build reusable assets, including playbooks, technical guides, demo environments, and integration patterns, to elevate the broader go-to-market team.

Example projects
  • Lead a POC with a mid-market manufacturing company to demonstrate how Roadrunner’s PQA layer integrates with Salesforce and NetSuite, including live pricing rules, approval workflows, and order synchronization - from kickoff to a working demo in two weeks.

  • Own the technical workstream for a global SaaS customer’s implementation: map their existing quoting process, design the data model migration from legacy CPQ, and coordinate API integration with their internal engineering team.

  • Build a demo environment showcasing Roadrunner’s agentic quoting capabilities for a new vertical, complete with pricing data and a guided walkthrough, then package it into a reusable playbook for the broader Solutions Architect team.

What you’ll bring
  • Experience in solutions engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting, with a track record of owning complex enterprise deals or implementations end-to-end.

  • Confidence engaging both technical teams and executive stakeholders.

  • Hands-on familiarity with CPQ and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP CPQ, HubSpot), along with a strong understanding of enterprise quoting, pricing, and approval workflows.

  • Working knowledge of ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or equivalent) and how they integrate with the broader revenue stack, including order management, billing, and revenue recognition.

  • Ability to design and explain API-based integrations between enterprise systems; comfortable reading API documentation, writing lightweight scripts, and troubleshooting data flows.

  • Strong communication skills - able to translate complex technical architectures into clear, compelling narratives for business audiences and vice versa.

  • Willingness to spend time in San Francisco during onboarding and travel as needed.

Bonus points if…
  • You’ve directly sold or implemented CPQ solutions and understand the pain points firsthand.

  • You’re comfortable with SQL or data modeling and can work with pricing and related data schemas independently.

  • You’ve worked at an early-stage company and understand what full ownership of end-to-end solution design looks like.

What we offer
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits for you and your family.

  • Lunch and dinner, as well as snacks and coffee to keep you energized.

  • Take what you need vacation policy.
