About the Role:

This role guides customers through the technical and product-facing side of their FluentStream journey by running live demos, supporting product adoption, and supporting customer-facing webinars.

You'll be the connective tissue between the teams that win customers and the teams that grow them: partnering with Account Executives during the sales cycle and with Growth Account Managers after close, to make sure every customer understands the product and gets real value from it. If you love translating technical complexity into clarity and enjoy being hands-on with customers - this role is for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform customer demonstrations for prospective and existing customers, tailoring the walkthrough to their use case
  • Support the Sales and Growth teams for complex opportunities, digging into prospect requirements to help shape the right solution and to answer technical and product questions throughout the sales cycle
  • Assist with RFP responses, security questionnaires, and other technical documentation needed during the sales process
  • Provide customer training during onboarding for accounts with sophisticated/complex programming requirements
  • Identify adoption gaps and proactively coordinate with customers and internal teams to close them
  • Partner with Growth Account Managers to support renewal and expansion conversations with technical credibility
  • Serve as subject matter expert across our full product suite, including deep knowledge of competitor products and features
  • Create self-service resources (guides, FAQs, walkthroughs) that guide to adoption and reduce Support ticket volume utilizing AI and other tools
  • Own proof-of-concept (PoC) deployments for strategic opportunities
  • Develop and deliver technical training and demos on our products for resellers, partners, and internal teams
  • Provide feedback from prospects and customers to Product/Engineering to inform future development and help shape the roadmap based on real-world insights

Experience We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role — Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or similar
  • UCaaS experience required
  • Experience with onboarding, product adoption, or customer education programs
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, customer-friendly language
  • A collaborative mindset; this role works across Sales, Marketing, and the Growth team daily as well as interface with Product and Operations teams frequently
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable owning a body of work end-to-end
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience with CRM and support tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk)
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer and partner visits

What We Offer:

Working at Ooma means being a team player, while allowing your individual voice to come through. And, you'll receive competitive compensation, benefits and generous company perks.

  • Comprehensive Medical/Dental/Vision insurance for you and eligible dependents
    • HMO, PPO’s or a PPO with a HDHP (including HSA, which Ooma helps fund)
  • Employer Paid Income Protection Benefits (Basic Life and AD&D, Short- and Long-term disability)
  • FSA Healthcare & Dependent Care
  • Commuter Benefits
  • Voluntary Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity and Legal
  • 401(k), including employer match, and Roth
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
  • Paid Time off, Sick Time, as well as corporate holidays observed
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Life Balance benefits with Travel Assistance Services and Identity Theft
