Audiense is a consumer intelligence and audience analytics platform that helps brands and agencies understand, segment, and activate their target audiences using social, behavioral, and demographic data.

Elevar, part of Audiense, is our conversion tracking platform for DTC ecommerce brands — powering server-side tracking, first-party data capture, and reliable event delivery into Meta CAPI, GA4, Google Ads, TikTok, Klaviyo, and the wider marketing stack.

We're looking for a Solutions Engineer to serve as a technical resource across the Elevar go-to-market effort. In this role, you'll support pre-sales technical scoping and demos, build proofs of concept that demonstrate the impact of clean tracking data, troubleshoot integration and data quality issues, and act as a technical point of contact for agency and platform partners.
This is a customer-facing, cross-functional role that blends hands-on technical work with sales and partner support. You'll work closely with the Lead Solutions Engineer, who will support your ramp-up and set technical direction, and partner day-to-day with Sales and Partnerships.
What you'll do

  • Support pre-sales technical scoping, discovery, and demos for prospects and joint customers, tailored to each brand's existing tracking stack.
  • Run technical audits of a prospect's current implementation to identify gaps in tracking, attribution, and data quality.
  • Build proof-of-concept implementations, including side-by-side test pixels that run alongside a prospect's existing setup without disrupting live integrations.
  • Hand off closed deals to the implementation team with complete technical context — documented requirements, tracking gaps identified during discovery, and scoped expectations — so onboarding starts cleanly and time-to-value is protected.
  • Research and document how tracking and event data work on platforms beyond Shopify — such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud and BigCommerce — to support the expansion of the Elevar API and make each new platform integration smoother.
  • Serve as a technical contact for agency and platform partners, supporting enablement sessions, integration questions, and joint customer work.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, audit templates, integration guides, and best practices for the Sales and Partnerships teams.
  • Share customer and partner feedback with the Lead Solutions Engineer to inform product priorities.

What you'll bring

  • 3+ years in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, analytics implementation, or agency-side martech role.
  • Hands-on experience with web analytics and conversion tracking implementation: Google Tag Manager, dataLayer work, GA4, and at least one ad platform conversions API (Meta CAPI, Google Ads, TikTok).
  • Working understanding of server-side versus client-side tracking, and why the distinction matters for attribution and data quality.
  • Strong hands-on experience with APIs, webhooks, and data integrations (REST APIs, JSON, authentication flows).
  • Comfortable in browser devtools and able to read JavaScript well enough to debug an existing implementation.
  • Familiarity with consent management and how privacy regulation affects tracking (CMPs, consent mode).
  • Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical concepts for both engineers and marketing stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting or collaborating with Sales teams in a pre-sales technical capacity.
  • Self-starter who is comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, remote environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, or related) or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience implementing tracking on one or more major ecommerce platforms — Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce, or WooCommerce.
  • Prior experience at a martech, adtech, or ecommerce analytics company, a DTC brand, or a performance marketing agency.
  • Experience with retention platforms such as Klaviyo or Attentive.
  • Comfort with SQL or Python for investigating data quality questions.
  • Experience supporting agency, reseller, or technology partners.

Why Join Audiense

  • Work at the intersection of data, audience intelligence, and ecommerce technology.
  • High-visibility, customer-facing role on a small team where your work is directly tied to revenue.
  • Clear technical mentorship and a defined path to grow into senior scope.
  • Collaborative, remote-friendly culture with opportunities to shape both product and process.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.

Audiense is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
