Job summary
The Collaboration Solutions Specialist acts as the technical point of contact for collaboration solutions and when necessary, serves as an intermediary to route opportunities to the appropriate resources. This role aligns closely with sales teams to support solution growth objectives. The Collaboration Solutions Specialist brings advanced technical expertise within their core discipline and intermediate knowledge across adjacent areas. This individual builds and maintains strategic relationships with Sellers, Solution Architects and Solutions Specialists from other practice areas and is regarded as a trusted partner for driving business growth.
What you will do
* Maintains advanced knowledge of collaboration solutions to discover, qualify, recommend and compare products and services.
* Explains the features, benefits, and technical specifications of primary, secondary, emerging, complementary and advanced collaboration solutions.
* Maintains knowledge of adjacent technologies including contact center, digital signage, telephony, video, headsets, messaging and related disciplines
* Engages with customers to uncover business needs and recommend relevant solutions.
* Discusses collaboration technologies and solutions at a conceptual level with customers, including installation and implementation.
* Engages with customers to define business needs, discuss solutions and identify additional opportunities beyond the original scope.
* Participate in CDW customer events, delivering business focused Collaboration presentations through virtual platforms.
* Contributes to the sales team's knowledge base and shares information with specialists and Account Managers.
* Provides Account Managers with best practices and guidance for identifying and communicating solutions and services.
* Collaborates regularly with ITS coworkers to align on go to market strategies.
* Attends required partner and specialist trainings along with self-learning through online courses and labs.
* Maintains strategic relationships with CDW's collaboration partners.
* Attains role level certifications within primary and adjacent disciplines.
* Determine whether to route an opportunity or work it when received via Salesforce case.
* Handle prioritization of multiple areas of responsibility as well as different case opportunities based on scale and scope.
What we expect of you
* 3 years of technical solution sales or hands on experience with several of the partners listed below.
* Able to explain complex technical subjects clearly to non technical individuals.
* Demonstrate success engaging with and supporting sales teams.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to execute against goals and performance metrics.
* Adaptable to changing business needs, practice priorities and team coverage models.
* Able to communicate effectively and constructively with management, peers and coworkers.
* Strong problem solving skills and able to think creatively to generate proactive ideas that support sales growth.
* Motivated, self-starting and able to work independently.
* Strong passion for learning and teaching others.
* Cisco Flex process understanding, a plus
* Experience in Salesforce, a plus
* Proven success and experience selling collaboration solutions and services, a plus
* Technical Accreditations and/or Certifications with several of the following: 8x8, Cisco, Dialpad, Five9, Google, HP Poly, Jabra, Logitech, Microsoft Teams, NEAT, RingCentral, Shure, Yealink, Zoom, a plus
* Base pay range: $52,000 - $95,300 depending on experience and skill set
* Annual bonus target of 25% subject to terms and conditions of plan
