Summary:

This position is responsible for performing quality ultrasound examinations at the direction of a Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP). Sonographer utilizes application of advanced clinical and technical knowledge to provide safe quality procedures aligned with Cook Childrens values and Our Promise. This position is accountable for providing direct patient care and maintaining expertise for all ages spanning from neonatal/newborn to young adults.
Qualifications:

  • Completed School of Radiologic Technology or other 2 year allied Health degree

  • Three years ultrasound experience, preferred

  • ARDMS or registry eligible to be completed within 18 months of hire

  • BLS required
