Who we are

Neros is a defense technology company rebuilding America’s drone industrial base. We design and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are tested in combat, iterated at startup speed, and built at massive scale. Our team culture is fast, hands-on, and obsessed with closing the gap between design and deployment.

As drones transform the character of warfare, Neros is delivering the systems the West needs to compete on the modern battlefield and deter the adversaries of democracy. We’re hiring engineers, operators, and builders who want to move fast, take on extreme ownership, and get capability into the hands of warfighters in months, not years.

Neros is hiring a SOUTHCOM Lead to drive business development and sales with U.S. forces operating across the SOUTHCOM area of responsibility. This person will be responsible for identifying key stakeholders, building relationships with operational units, generating and leading engagements, and helping convert regional demand into fielded capability.

Responsibilities

  • Own business development and sales efforts for U.S. forces in SOUTHCOM
  • Support planning and execution of demos, live fires, training events, and operational evaluations
  • Identify opportunities tied to training, equipping, partner-force support, and real-world testing

You should have the following

  • Experience working with or inside U.S. military organizations, preferably in operational or business development contexts
  • Strong understanding of U.S. forces operating in the SOUTHCOM region
  • Experience planning or supporting military engagements, training events, exercises, demos, or live fires
  • Willingness to travel regionally and domestically as needed
  • Comfort working across sales, product, operations, and leadership teams
  • High ownership, strong judgment, and a mission-first mindset

Nice to Have

  • Prior military service or direct experience supporting deployed U.S. forces
  • Familiarity with UAS, loitering munitions, robotics, defense technology, or tactical systems
  • Experience with foreign military sales, partner-force equipping, security cooperation, or SOF networks
  • Existing relationships with U.S. units, commands, or program offices operating in the region
