We are seeking native speakers of Spanish as spoken in the United States with expertise and proven experience in speech transcription and translation.
Task Details
This project involves reviewing and correcting transcribed emergency calls. Some audio may contain sensitive or distressing content, so comfort working with challenging material is preferred.
You will also be tasked to proofread the English translation of these transcripts.
We will provide access to our platform along with transcription and translation conventions and task guidelines. Your transcripts and translations will be reviewed for quality and adherence to guidelines.
Requirements
- Native speaker of Spanish
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Currently residing in the US for at least 3 years, or has recently lived in the US for at least 5 years
- Proven experience in speech transcription, particularly for challenging audio
- Proven experience with transcription tools
- Quality-focused with close attention to detail
- Ability to follow guidelines and work independently
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Availability of 5-6 hours/week for 6-8 weeks
