Firetrol Protection Systems, a national leader in fire protection & life safety services since 1984. Firetrol is seeking an experienced Sprinkler Project Manager to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for managing fire sprinkler projects from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to safety standards, project timelines, and budget constraints. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders, and a comprehensive understanding of fire protection systems.

Job Description:

  • Manage scheduling and coordination of manpower and materials for sprinkler projects.
  • Review and approve project drawings, submittals, and fabricate lists.
  • Ensure compliance with local authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements for permitting processes.
  • Monitor project budgets and financials to identify cost savings and mitigate impacts.
  • Conduct site visits and participate in project meetings.
  • Communicate project status and resolve issues with field personnel, customers, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and track changes affecting project scope and costs.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of fire sprinkler installation experience.
  • At least 3 years of project management experience in fire protection or related fields.
  • Knowledgeable with NFPA 13, NFPA 20, NFPA 25, and FM Global Standards.
  • Technical understanding of various fire sprinkler system types including Wet, Dry, Preaction, and Deluge.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
