Job Description

 Job Title: SQL DB Developer

Location: Austin, Texas


Job Discription:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. 

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working with MS SQL Server Database 

• Experience managing multiple MS SQL 2008 R2 and above on large systems in a clustered environment

• Must have experience with SQL Server 2005, 2008, SSIS (ETL), SSRS

• Must demonstrate expertise in data analysis, data modeling, database design, database implementation, capacity planning, and tuning.

• Deep understanding of database design principals, query execution plans, stored procedures and SQL coding

• Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve live database systems issues

• Knowledge of disaster recovery principles and practices, including planning, testing, backup/restore

• Excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills

• Proficient with database replication and able to tune to optimize replication

• Experience with MS SQL Integration Services is highly desired

• Experience with T SQL and DTS stored procedures

• Strong self-sufficiency and initiative working on Database projects

• Practical experience in managing the internal and external MS SQL Database Security

• Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service
