BeyondTrust is a place where you can bring your purpose to life through the work that you do, creating a safer world through our cybersecurity SaaS portfolio.

Our culture of flexibility, trust, and continual learning means you will be recognized for your growth, and for the impact you make on our success. You will be surrounded by people who challenge, support, and inspire you to be the best version of yourself.

The Role

We are looking for a highly analytical FP&A professional to support our go-to-market organization, with a primary focus on operating expenses, investment planning, and performance analysis.

This role will provide hands-on financial planning and business partnership across GTM. You will manage expense forecasts, understand spending drivers, and help leaders evaluate hiring, programs, and other investments.

You will also support analysis of Sales capacity, productivity, CAC, and sales efficiency, and contribute to topline forecasting as needed. The role offers opportunities to expand into broader commercial-finance responsibilities over time.

Our approach to FP&A is simple: understand what happened, determine why it matters, and help the business decide what to do next.

What You’ll Do

Business Partnering

  • Partner with GTM budget owners on headcount, operating expenses, vendors, programs, and investment decisions.
  • Analyze spending and resource allocation, identifying risks, opportunities, and communicating practical recommendations.
  • Support Sales capacity, ramp, productivity, CAC, sales efficiency, and Marketing ROI analysis.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to align headcount, capacity, ramp, and productivity assumptions across expense forecasts and sales-efficiency analysis.
  • Develop scenarios connecting changes in hiring and investment to expected commercial outcomes.
  • Support the broader GTM Finance team on business cases, commercial initiatives, and topline analysis and forecasting as needed. Responsibilities may expand into broader new-business and expansion forecasting as experience and business needs evolve.

FP&A Rhythm-of-business

  • Manage annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and recurring expense analysis across assigned GTM functions.
  • Track headcount, hiring timing, and personnel costs, coordinating functional inputs with the global personnel planning owner.
  • Partner with Accounting to validate actuals, accruals, and expense classifications.
  • Explain variances against budget and forecast, distinguishing timing differences from changes in the underlying outlook.
  • Proactively monitor forecast accuracy by identifying recurring sources of variance and improving forecast assumptions and methodologies.
  • Prepare analysis and commentary for business reviews, company forecasts, and executive reporting.
  • Improve and automate recurring planning and reporting workflows, using AI and other tools where appropriate.

What You’ll Bring

  • Manage annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and recurring expense analysis across assigned GTM functions.
  • Track headcount, hiring timing, and personnel costs, coordinating functional inputs with the global personnel planning owner.
  • Partner with Accounting to validate actuals, accruals, and expense classifications.
  • Explain variances against budget and forecast, distinguishing timing differences from changes in the underlying outlook.
  • Proactively monitor forecast accuracy by identifying recurring sources of variance and improving forecast assumptions and methodologies. (Building on explaining variances in above bullet, by monitoring the variances for proactive improvements and communication)
  • Prepare analysis and commentary for business reviews, company forecasts, and executive reporting.
  • Improve and automate recurring planning and reporting workflows, using AI and other tools where appropriate.
