The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will be the primary architect of the product and Market Intelligence organization’s most critical analytical frameworks—including product health assessments, market and targeting analytics, product launch insights, and more. This individual will be a key strategic partner, providing the fact-based insights necessary to solve advanced product and market intelligence challenges, support organization growth, and drive both high-level decision-making and precise tactical execution.
This role requires a blend of expert technical analytical skills—with an obsessive attention to accuracy—and the ability to synthesize those details into product and market targeting strategy. The ideal candidate has a passion for understanding internal operations, provider and account behavior, solving non-linear business problems (such as defining the impact of one product adoption on the health of another product), and simplifying complex data into persuasive narratives for management.
Structure and Collaboration
Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Director of Commercial Analytics.
Stakeholders: Interfaces regularly with Leadership across the product and digital platforms teams. This role works in lockstep with the Commercial Strategy and Market Intelligence team.
Leadership: While this is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, this individual is expected to serve as a high-level strategic leader and a technical mentor to more junior analysts across the team.
Responsibility
· Framework Architecture: Design end-to-end analytical frameworks to assess provider lifecycle stages, from initial registration to "Super User" status.
· Cross-Functional Influence: Partner with Commercial Strategy and Market Intelligence to embed your findings directly into product workflows, decision making forums and digital offerings for providers.
· Advanced Modeling: Utilize statistical techniques to identify anomaly detection with changes in product performance and user behavior.
· Senior Management Translation: Prepare and present high-stakes narratives for the senior management, turning complex data sets into simple, persuasive strategic recommendations.
QualificationsBachelor's degree, preferably in business, marketing, data science, management information systems, mathematics, statistics, or a related field required.
Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including 5+ years of experience in business analytics, forecasting, strategic insights, commercial insights, or a related field, ideally in a downstream capacity preferred.
Expert proficiency and experience in analytic and quantitative modeling and data visualization using Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint or Data Visualization Platform (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, etc) required
Proficiency with Healthcare Commercial Intelligence Platforms such as Definitive Healthcare and provider registries is preferred.
Advanced proficiency and experience in database development, database management, and data mining using tools such as Snowflake, Python, and R.
Strong working knowledge and experience using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
Experience applying descriptive and inferential statistical principles (variance, standard deviation, regression, etc.) to interpret sample data.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to synthesize large volumes of data and to articulate complex findings in a clear, understandable way to various stakeholders.
High business sense with an ability to identify key business information needs in collaboration with partners.
Ability to partner and engage across functions and with individuals and teams with varying familiarity of market insights data.
Strong communication/presentation, listening, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to effectively and efficiently balance multiple deliverables to meet deadlines with high quality analyses and conclusions.
Ability to teach and mentor other team members.
