Summary

This role will collaborate cross-functionally with Finance and the business to generate scalable, efficient, & replicable process improvements & project efforts across the Controller organization.
This individual will lead project management and process improvement efforts, identify improvement opportunities, design new workflows, & define technical requirements for new systems, features, & integrations. The individual will also effectively track the execution, communicate the status, & help deliver on accountable projects. The successful candidate will blend strong business & process expertise with effective stakeholder management, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business process creation and optimization projects for Revenue Accounting and Operations, working across the organization to help streamline our business process

  • Manage select critical business processes to ensure continuity and proper management; optimize and continuously improve as required

  • Project management of initiatives including establishing project plan, tracking progress, documenting milestones, and setting efficient standards and guidelines

  • Design and implement key performance indicators and metrics, establishing tracking and communication protocols

  • Work closely with product managers to ensure seamless integration of software solutions; Coordinate with stakeholders and users to gather detailed project requirements

  • Represent master data governance in CDK initiatives

  • Create tools, reports, and processes to effectively communicate project status to all stakeholders.

  • Implementation & documentation of business processes, collaborating across multiple stakeholders

  • Translate policies and key decisions to executive memos and process documentation

  • Create, communicate and manage detailed project plans, dependencies, resource plans, schedules and deadlines

  • Strong presentation skills and ability to develop comprehensive project plans of all scope sizes and functions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience including experience in process improvements

  • Strong proficiency with Business Intelligence Tools and working with large datasets

  • Proven ability to quickly learn business processes and adapt to changing priorities

  • Aptitude to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize time-sensitive requests

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to interact with all levels

  • Strong analytical skills in problem solving, business processes and attention to detail

  • Superior judgment and discretion working with both confidential and sensitive information

  • Flexible, adaptable, proactive and self-motivated

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP Certification

  • Lean Six Sigma Certification Preferred

  • Knowledge of large ERP systems (ie. Oracle, SAP, etc)

  • Experience in system migrations and system implementation

  • Knowledge of SalesForce and/or PowerBI

Salary Range: $61,560 to $79,000

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.  The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.We offer Medical, dental, and vision benefits in addition to:
