Our industry is growing and demand is high. This means you’ll have plenty of opportunities to grow and develop in your career. Keeping healthcare healthy can be as fun as it is rewarding

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in driving the evolution of our products by deeply understanding our business needs, delivering comprehensive requirements, and coordinating closely with cross-functional teams. This is an opportunity to leverage your robust analytical capabilities, business understanding, and technical expertise to shape the path of our product portfolio and contribute significantly to our business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead collaboration with all parties involved in the product/solution delivery lifecycle (product management, users, stakeholders, software engineers, cross-functional teams, and delivery) to identify, articulate, and define complex business, data, and product requirements.
  • Translate these complex requirements into precise, coherent functional and non-functional specifications for the product team.
  • Work closely with the product team in the creation and maintenance of artifacts such as user stories, process flow diagrams, and test plans.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions and the review of requirements documentation with product management, users, and the product team.
  • Evaluate, interpret, and communicate potential risks and impacts of changes on systems, integrations, processes, users, UI/UX, and architecture. Provide strategic advice for managing these changes and their effects on the overall ecosystem.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the objectives and value of proposed features and functionality. Use this insight to provide context, enabling the product team to develop highly effective solutions.
  • Assist with the development of the test plan, ensuring that the product meets complex and nuanced business requirements.
  • Lead root cause analysis of data/process issues, proposing solutions and improvements.
  • Mentor business systems analysts, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Senior Stakeholder Engagement - Proactively engage with senior stakeholders, manage their expectations, and translate their strategic needs into actionable requirements.
  • Advanced Requirements Management - Lead the end-to-end process of business requirements development and documentation for complex efforts.
  • Strong Business Strategy Alignment – Identify opportunities, innovation and value creation that align with the business requirements and overall strategic goals.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making - Use sophisticated data analysis techniques to inform requirements gathering and to provide insights that drive business decisions.
  • Process Improvement – Identify and champion process improvements and changes identified while gathering requirements.
  • Communication - Articulate complex information effectively across diverse audiences, ensuring key stakeholders are aligned and informed.
  • Collaboration - Collaborate seamlessly with all involved in the product/solution delivery lifecycle all while managing conflicts and building consensus when needed.
  • Puts People First - Maintain a deep sense of empathy, actively listen to stakeholders, and place people's needs at the center of decision making.

Education & Years of Experience:

  • BS preferred in a relevant field (e.g., business, engineering, computer science, or a related field), but relevant professional experience accepted
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, with proven experience in managing complex and large-scale projects.

Preferred:

  • Expert understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools, such as Salesforce, SQL, JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and collaboration platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority efforts concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA).
