Comerit is searching for a Sr. Cloud Security Engineer to
work on contract remotely for 6+ month for our client located in the East Bay Area
of San Francisco.
This person will be part of the Infrastructure team responsible
for the resource stack of the overall product and includes provisioning,
networking, and security.
This candidate must possess knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure
and increasing the security posture of all components deployed in it.
This will includes cloud compute instances, containers, databases,
and networking. Familiarity and fluency with these cloud primitives are
required.
Also needed is basic working knowledge of Git, CICD
pipelines and the ability to work in an Agile framework
Role will include:
- Being part of the Infrastructure Team
- Daily standups and scrum
- Handling tickets and work assignments via Jira
Stories
- Maintenance of the Infrastructure and its
Security.
- Provisioning of Resources in the cloud
- Handling ad-hoc requirements with regards to
Infrastructure Security
- Development and implementation of security policies and requirements.
- Performing related activities as part of DevSecOps org.
Requirements
5 years+
experience
• AWS / Azure /
GCP (one of the 3 cloud providers)
• Containers,
Kubernetes
• Data
pipelines – Postgress, NiFi and Kafka
• SIEM tools
and implantations.
• Awareness of
open-source vulnerabilities
• Private
Certification authority workings and infrastructure
• Terraform and
Helm
• Expertise in
Python, Linux/Unix
