Beyond Meat, Inc., otherwise known as Beyond The Plant Protein Company™, is a plant protein company offering a portfolio of plant-based products made from simple ingredients without GMOs, no added hormones or antibiotics, and 0mg of cholesterol per serving. Founded in 2009, Beyond Meat’s core products are designed to have the same taste and texture as animal-based meat while being better for people and the planet.

The Company’s brand promise, Eat What You Love®, represents a strong belief that there is a better way to feed our future and that the positive choices we all make, no matter how small, can have a great impact on our personal health and the health of our planet. By shifting from animal-based protein to plant-based protein, we can positively impact four growing global issues: human health, climate change, constraints on natural resources and animal welfare.

Job Description

The Senior Manager of Community Engagement leads the strategy and execution of initiatives that build, nurture, and scale meaningful relationships between the organization and its communities, while activating a coalition of mission-aligned partners. • Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with leaders in animal welfare, plant-based health, environmental advocacy, rescues, sanctuaries, and student communities

  • Identify and activate credible third-party voices to help counter misinformation and reinforce the Company’s mission and values

  • Lead a scalable grassroots engagement strategy that drives authentic connections with plant-based and mission-aligned communities

  • Oversee the Company’s presence at key events, conferences, and community activations across advocacy, health, environmental, and compassion-driven spaces

  • Direct execution of product sampling, donations, field activations, and ambassador-style engagement programs

  • Evaluate and prioritize opportunities based on strategic alignment, audience impact, and measurable return

  • Position Beyond Meat as a trusted, mission-driven partner—not a transactional sponsor—within aligned communities

  • Develop partnership frameworks that enable long-term collaboration, co-created initiatives, and shared value

  • Manage partner lifecycle from identification and onboarding to engagement, measurement, and retention

  • Build and implement scalable systems for managing coalition and grassroots programs

  • Define and track KPIs across partner growth, engagement, event impact, sampling effectiveness, and earned amplification

  • Establish clear reporting structures to provide leadership visibility into performance, priorities, and ROI

  • Continuously optimize strategies based on data, insights, and the evolving needs of the business

Supervisory Duties (if applicable)
