About the Role

We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to lead user experience strategy and execution for complex enterprise finance applications focused on risk management, regulatory compliance, and governance workflows.

This role is centered on deep UX problem-solving, not marketing sites or visual branding. You will design highly functional, data-intensive systems used by risk analysts, compliance officers, auditors, and finance leaders.

You will work at the intersection of product, engineering, and domain experts to transform complex regulatory and financial requirements into intuitive, efficient, and scalable user experiences.

What You’ll Do UX Strategy & Systems Thinking

  • Lead UX for complex enterprise workflows across risk, compliance, audit, and financial control domains
  • Translate regulatory and business requirements into structured user journeys and system interactions
  • Design scalable interaction models for data-heavy platforms
  • Define information architecture for complex financial datasets and multi-layered navigation
  • Identify usability risks in high-stakes financial workflows

Workflow & Interaction Design

  • Create detailed user flows, service blueprints
  • Design dashboards and workflows
  • Simplify complex rule-based systems and multi-step compliance processes
  • Ensure clarity and efficiency in exception handling and edge cases
  • Prototype advanced interactions for enterprise-scale applications

Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Product Managers on feature definition and prioritization
  • Collaborate with Engineering to ensure feasibility in highly regulated systems
  • Work with compliance and legal teams to ensure regulatory alignment

What We’re Looking For Experience

  • 7+ years in UX design, with strong experience in enterprise or B2B applications
  • Experience designing complex systems (not just marketing or visual design work)
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, governance, risk, compliance, or related domains strongly preferred

Core Skills

  • Advanced information architecture skills
  • Strong interaction design for complex workflows
  • Expertise in designing dashboards, reporting systems, and data visualization logic
  • Ability to simplify regulatory or rule-heavy systems
  • Strong design and prototyping skills (Figma)

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with risk modeling, AML, KYC, audit workflows, SOX, Basel, or similar regulatory frameworks
  • Experience working with legacy modernization projects
  • Understanding of enterprise design systems

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 33,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 118,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is not available for independent contractors
