This is the designer who owns the visual expression of Seekr's brand and product story — from campaign creative to event collateral to product diagrams to long-form content design to the visual language of the website. The role sits within the Creative & Production function, reporting to the Director, Creative & Production, and working closely with the Senior Manager, Brand & Creative on daily execution. You partner with Technical Product Marketing on product visualization, Demand Generation on campaign creative, PR & Communications on earned content design, and Web & Digital on web visual standards.
This is a craft role. The bar is publication-quality across all surfaces. As Seekr's creative function scales, you may become the foundation of a small in-house design team. For now, the role is senior IC.
Designers usually specialize in one lane - graphic and brand, UX and web, or motion and video. This role needs a generalist who is genuinely strong across graphic/brand design (collateral, decks, social, campaign creative) and digital/web design (landing pages, web UI, conversion surfaces), and can move between them daily. Single-discipline specialists will find the range of this role a stretch.
Motion and video are the lighter end of this role, not a core requirement. The Director, Creative & Production and an external agency own cinematic and AI-generated video; you contribute supporting design - titles, thumbnails, motion-ready graphics - without needing to be a motion or video specialist yourself. Comfort with motion is a plus, not a gate.
Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain and evolve Seekr's brand visual identity. The brand system is a tool, not a constraint; use it well.
- Design campaign creative against briefs from Demand Generation and Technical Product Marketing.
- Design long-form content - the white papers, solution briefs, and reports that anchor Seekr's thought leadership.
- Visualize technical product concepts in partnership with Technical Product Marketing and engineering. AI architecture is hard to draw; draw it well.
- Design event collateral - booth graphics, banners, swag, signage - in partnership with the GTM Team across both federal and commercial events.
- Maintain presentation templates and design master decks for customer- and prospect-facing use across the GTM Team.
- Direct external creative resources where applicable.
- Use AI tools as design power tools - ideation, image generation against brand guardrails, variant production, copy-on-design iteration. AI accelerates the work; you set the standard for what ships. We are not here to add AI slop to the brand.
- Hold the line between frontier and slop - AI now lets a small team produce at studio ambition, and makes it trivially easy to ship soulless graphics. You maintain our taste, intent, and craft.
- 8+ years in design at a B2B technology company, with at least three of those years owning brand and campaign design end-to-end.
- Strong portfolio across digital, print, presentation, and product visualization.
- Mastery of Figma, the Adobe suite, and presentation design tools.
- Ability to design technical content both creatively and credibly - architecture diagrams, system flows, data visualizations.
- Demonstrated practice using AI design tools (Midjourney, DALL-E, Adobe Firefly, runway, or similar) with a clear point of view on where AI accelerates the work and where it doesn't. We will ask.
- Comfort working in a small marketing team where the designer ships finished work, not just concepts.
- Strong written communication - you will need to brief, explain, defend, and revise your own work.
- Experience managing creative teams (designers, producers, motion designers) and directing external creative agencies.
- Demonstrated practice using AI tools in creative workflows - ideation, motion, video, image generation against brand guardrails. We will ask what you have shipped with AI assistance, what you have kept human, and where you draw the line.
- Comfort with technical AI subject matter - enough to communicate Seekr's product visually without translation by Technical Product Marketing.
- Demonstrated comfort partnering across product marketing, demand generation, PR, field marketing, and web disciplines in an integrated marketing function.
