Position Summary

The Senior Software Development Engineer – DevOps, Quality & Automation will lead the design, development, and implementation of robust automated testing solutions to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of enterprise software products. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies, build scalable automation frameworks, and drive continuous quality improvement across the SDLC.


The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation, deep expertise in modern automation frameworks, and strong proficiency in CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud-based testing environments. This role demands technical leadership, a strong engineering mindset, and a passion for delivering high-quality, stable, and well-tested software.


Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, test automation, and quality engineering.

• Strong proficiency in automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber.

• Hands-on experience with programming languages including Java, Python, or JavaScript.

• Strong understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies, and QA best practices.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, or GitHub Actions.

• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.


Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).

• Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-based testing.

• Experience in mobile application testing and automation.

• Certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE are a plus.

• Prior leadership or mentoring experience is highly desirable.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 40,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 140,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is available for independent contractors
