If you're ready to meet the moment with innovation, curiosity, and excellence, there's a place for you here.

We’re reimagining the future of People & Culture at Alteryx—and we’re looking for a visionary leader to help us bring that future to life. As the Senior Director of People & Culture, AI & Transformation, you will define and drive our global AI strategy within P&C, leading the design, implementation, and scaling of AI-driven solutions transforming and reimagining how we work, make decisions, and create employee experiences.

This is a unique opportunity to build something from the ground up—shaping the future of HR through technology, automation, and analytics at a company that thrives on data innovation. You’ll partner closely with leaders across People & Culture, IT, Product and the business to identify opportunities where AI can transform the way we operate and turn those ideas into measurable impact.

What You’ll Do

Lead a Center of Excellence for People Innovation

  • Define the overarching AI strategy and roadmap for the People & Culture function, aligned with enterprise AI priorities and business goals.

  • Serve as the thought leader and evangelist for responsible AI adoption across HR, ensuring innovation is balanced with ethics, privacy, and compliance.

  • Partner with the P&C leadership team to identify high-impact use cases for AI, from talent acquisition and development to workforce planning and employee engagement.

  • Lead and inspire People Operations, Services and Analytics teams, transforming into a COE for AI driven innovation and operational excellence.

  • Reinvent the function shifting from reactive to proactive, predictive and automated solutions – building the engines that powers our People AI strategy

Drive Implementation and Execution

  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable projects—developing pilots, proof-of-concepts, and scalable programs that automate, augment, and optimize HR processes.

  • Oversee deployment of AI-driven tools, workflows and agents increasing productivity, creating efficiency, and moving with speed across the employee lifecycle.

  • Lead cross-functional partnerships with IT, Legal, and Security to ensure safe, compliant, and effective integration of AI..

Innovate and Inspire

  • Explore emerging technologies (e.g., GenAI, NLP, automation tools, conversational agents) to enhance HR efficiency and employee experience.

  • Create internal frameworks and training to elevate AI literacy across P&C and the broader organization.

  • Partner with Alteryx product, IT and data science teams to share learning and leverage internal innovation.

Who You Are

  • A strategic innovator who blends creativity with operational excellence—you see the art of the possible and make it real, while measuring strategic outcomes and ROI at each turn

  • Experienced in both HR and technology domains, with a strong grasp of how AI can drive value across the employee lifecycle.

  • A creative leader with a growth mindset – someone who wants to lead the way, challenge the norm, and says ‘why not?’ instead of ‘we can’t’.

  • A trusted partner to senior leadership, skilled at influencing and communicating complex concepts in simple, business-oriented terms.

  • A collaborative leader who empowers and grows high-performing teams.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in People Analytics, HR Technology, Digital Transformation, or related areas.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing AI or automation strategies within HR or enterprise environments.

  • Deep understanding of AI technologies, data strategy, and responsible AI principles.

  • Strong project leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives from concept to implementation.

  • Proficiency in modern HR systems (Workday, Snowflake, Alteryx, Tableau) and familiarity with AI/ML applications or APIs.

  • Exceptional communication, change management, and storytelling skills.
