Role Overview
The Sr. Director, AI Products owns the vision, strategy, and execution of GoHighLevel’s AI products and AI-driven experiences. This role combines hands-on product leadership with company-level AI thinking. This leader is responsible for translating advances in AI into tangible customer value and business results, with direct accountability for AI adoption, usage, retention, and revenue. In parallel, they will shape the future AI vision for the platform, influencing how AI transforms our UI, UX, workflows, and long-term growth. This role is expected to operate with VP-level judgment and ownership, while remaining deeply engaged in product strategy and execution.

What This Role Owns
- End-to-end ownership of AI product vision, roadmap, and delivery
- Business performance of AI products (adoption, engagement, retention, revenue)
- Near and mid-term AI strategy (12–36 months), with input into longer-term direction
- Cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and GTM
- The evolution of AI-native UI/UX across the platform

Key Responsibilities

AI Vision & Product Strategy
- Define and continuously refine the AI product vision and mission for GoHighLevel
- Own the AI product roadmap, balancing near-term wins with foundational investments
- Identify high-leverage AI opportunities that materially improve customer outcomes and platform differentiation
- Help shape how AI becomes embedded into the core product experience—not bolted on

Product Execution & Delivery
- Lead AI products from discovery through launch, iteration, and scale
- Partner closely with Engineering and Data teams to deliver reliable, scalable AI systems
- Maintain strong product quality and customer trust while moving quickly in a fast-evolving AI landscape
- Make pragmatic tradeoffs across scope, speed, cost, and technical complexity

Business Ownership & Outcomes
- Be directly accountable for AI adoption, usage, retention, and monetization
- Translate AI capabilities into clear customer value propositions and pricing/packaging inputs
- Use data and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and prioritization
- Clearly communicate AI product performance, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership

UI, UX & Platform Impact
- Drive the evolution of AI-native UI and UX, ensuring AI feels intuitive, proactive, and valuable
- Influence platform-wide product decisions where AI meaningfully impacts customer workflows
- Collaborate with Design to set standards for AI interactions, transparency, and trust

Cross-Functional & Executive Collaboration
- Act as the central product leader for AI across the company
- Work closely with GTM teams to ensure AI products are well-positioned, adopted, and supported
- Partner with executive leadership on AI strategy, investment tradeoffs, and sequencing
- Provide clear, structured updates on AI progress and impact

Team Leadership & Growth
- Lead and mentor AI-focused product managers and cross-functional product pods
- Help shape the future AI product organization as scope and impact grow
- Establish product practices that support experimentation, learning, and scale

Qualifications

Required
- 12+ years of product management experience with increasing scope and ownership
- Proven experience leading AI-powered or data-driven products from concept to scale
- Strong product judgment with clear business and customer orientation
- Experience owning outcomes, not just roadmaps or features
- Ability to influence across functions and operate comfortably with executive stakeholders

Preferred
- Experience with AI platforms, LLMs, AI agents, or workflow automation
- Background in SaaS products serving SMBs, agencies, or complex workflows
- Experience evolving UI/UX around intelligent or automated systems
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and shaping emerging product categories
