RYZE is seeking a visionary, strategic, and data-driven Sr. Director of Social Media Strategy to lead and elevate our organic social media presence across Instagram (including Broadcast Channel), Threads, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest. In this high-impact leadership role, you will define, evolve, and execute a cohesive, platform-specific social strategy that drives brand trust, deepens community engagement, and amplifies RYZE’s voice across culture. You will lead a growing social team and collaborate cross-functionally with internal partners and external collaborators to ensure social efforts align with business objectives, reflect our brand identity, and remain culturally relevant.

What You’ll DoStrategic Leadership & VisionDevelop and lead the long-term strategy for RYZE’s organic social ecosystem, with a focus on audience growth, engagement, retention, and measurable business impact
Translate brand positioning and marketing objectives into tailored, platform-specific strategies that resonate with target audiences
Stay ahead of cultural trends, algorithm changes, and emerging digital behaviors to keep RYZE at the forefront of social relevance
Oversee the development of high-performing, belief-building, and community-first content aligned with RYZE’s brand voice, visual identity, and marketing goals
Drive storytelling across campaigns, product launches, partnerships, creator collaborations, and brand moments
Partner with the Head of Experiential to translate in-person brand activations into social-first content strategies that extend reach and deepen engagement (without owning event execution)
Evaluate, test, and pilot new platforms, formats, and tools—including UGC trends, social commerce, and AI-driven workflows—fostering a culture of experimentation and innovation
Partner closely with the Influencer Marketing team to ensure creator collaborations meaningfully amplify organic content and brand authenticity
Integrate influencer content into broader social strategies to maximize reach, relevance, and community impact
Oversee social listening, community engagement standards, and response protocols to protect and enhance brand reputation
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to respond strategically to cultural moments, customer feedback, and reputational risks
Expand success metrics beyond engagement to clearly demonstrate how organic social builds trust and consideration at scale, supporting brand awareness, community growth, and retail velocity
Leverage analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Google Analytics, Hootsuite) to monitor performance, uncover insights, and optimize strategy
Deliver regular performance reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership grounded in data and community feedback
Team Leadership & Execution
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing social media team, fostering creativity, accountability, and continuous learning
Establish clear goals and OKRs tied to content performance, brand consistency, and audience impact
Build efficient workflows for content planning, creation, publishing, and reporting to ensure agility and alignment across teams
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Influencer, Email, Paid Media, Experiential, and Brand teams to ensure cohesive execution
Manage and partner with external agencies, creators, and collaborators to scale content production and community activation

What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
10+ years of experience in social media strategy, digital marketing, or content leadership within fast-paced, growth-oriented environments
Proven track record of experience partnering with performance and paid media teams, using social insights to inform creative testing, audience strategy, and measurable business outcomes (CAC, conversion, and LTV).
Minimum of 5 years of experience leading and managing social media teams
Strong understanding of how organic social complements paid media, performance creative, and influencer initiatives within an integrated marketing ecosystem
Deep expertise across major social platforms (Instagram, Threads, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest) and their evolving algorithms
Proven success growing social communities and driving engagement through strategic, high-performing content
Strategic, analytical thinker with strong storytelling instincts
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Proficiency with social analytics and management tools such as Sprout Social, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or similar
Strong creative point of view and cultural taste, with the ability to shape tone, pacing, and restraint across platforms, not just optimize performance
