We are hiring a Sr.Engineering Manager to manage Software Engineers and work within a technical engineering team to support Engineering. You will serve as a mentor and coach for engineers, work with the VP of Engineering to enable more efficient processes and best practices across our teams.
Reporting directly to the Head of Technology, you will work alongside Software Architects and Engineers in the Engineering department. You will manage and oversee the growth and development of Software Engineers. You will manage and lead the teams responsible for Consumer frontend and backend engineering as you help deliver a roadmap of work aimed at improving the ease of writing, testing, and deploying code at Everly Health.

What You’ll Do:
- Manage, grow, and mentor Software Engineers.
- Become an expert on our applications and provide technical leadership to Engineers.
- Consistently spend time coding on bugs and features that are not assigned to teams.
- Work with the Head of Technology and Director of Product to scope and plan future projects.
- Promote an Engineering culture of teamwork, success, fun, and opportunity
Who You Are:
- 6+ years Software Engineer/Engineering Manager experience.
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to manage engineers while working within a team yourself.
- Passion for mentoring and growing Software Engineers.
- Passion for building software quickly, driving value, and mitigating risk.
- Passion for Quality.
- Experience with devops pipelines a plus: gitlab pipelines, aws, docker etc
