Since 2018, Wisetack has been building transparent and intuitive consumer lending products that help service-based businesses thrive (think HVAC companies, veterinarians, or auto repair shops).

Our leadership team comes from top fintech companies such as Lending Club, Affirm, and Varo Money. And we’re backed by leading VCs, including Insight Partners, Greylock, Quadrille, and Bain Capital Ventures (investors in Airbnb, LinkedIn, Instagram, Dropbox, and more).

Having raised $84M, we’re a well-funded startup and have invested in people and technology while growing our partnerships — responsibly.

We’re also proud to have received recognition from the fintech world. Awards we’ve won include:

  • Ranked #21 on 2024 Inc. 5000 based on revenue growth
  • Ranked #15 on 2024 Deloitte Fast 500 based on revenue growth
  • 2024 Best Embedded Finance Solution for Banking Tech Awards
  • 2023 Best Consumer Lending Program by Tearsheet
  • 2023 Best Point of Sale Product by Fintech Breakthrough

But what you’ll find us gleaming about the most is the recognition from our own customers, particularly our sky-high NPS rating of 79. (For reference, the average score is 44 for financial services and 36 for SaaS companies.)

As a result of our efforts in building this healthy company culture, we’ve been nominated to several Great Places to Work lists, such as Best Small Workplaces, Best Workplaces in the Bay Area, and Best Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance.

Like any startup, we’re in it for the long haul, and we’re looking for people willing to join our journey of building something special together.

This process starts with our company values, which guide us in everything we do — and have played a critical role in our success. We valiantly abide by them, and would expect you to do the same:

  • Put customers first (that’s our M.O.)
  • Act fast (leverage our startup environment).
  • Lead the way (show and tell).
  • Take ownership (everyone is hands-on here).
  • Be a good human (no egos, build financial products that do right by people).

Learn more about our values here.

The Role

As Wisetack continues to scale rapidly in home services financing, we’re ready to invest in a dedicated leader to accelerate funnel growth. This is our first-ever Growth Marketing role. It’s your chance to define the function, shape our strategy, and build the systems that drive sustainable growth. You’ll be a builder, defining what success looks like and how we operate.

The role is responsible for crafting lead gen strategy, owning funnel growth, scaling merchant acquisition, optimizing CAC, and leading experimentation across channels.

The role does not currently have any direct reports.

Responsibilities

As someone coming in to build out the function, we expect you’ll modify and adjust your responsibilities as needed to achieve your ambitious goals. You should have a strong point of view about the function, including what you should and shouldn’t be working on – we are big fans of focus instead of lots of tasks.

Success looks like year-over-year growth in MQLs and SQLs for our direct sales team, with special attention to merchants who activate (issue loans) since that’s where our true impact lies.

We know, though, that not everything meaningful fits in a spreadsheet. The intangibles — like strong collaboration, creative testing, iterating a good idea to a great one, and building durable systems — matter just as much.

Existing Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute growth strategies that drive merchant acquisition, activation, and retention
  • Own the acquisition funnel end-to-end, optimizing CAC, conversion, and activation
  • Lead small, fast, data-driven experiments across paid, organic, partner, lifecycle, and referral channels
  • Partner with the Sales Development Representative team (which reports to marketing) to build out ABM (account based marketing) campaigns to win the largest enterprise merchants and help us move up market
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Account Management, RevOps, and Analytics to optimize user journeys
  • Build and manage dashboards and reporting frameworks (HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, SalesLoft)
  • Establish playbooks and frameworks for experimentation; communicate outcomes broadly across the company
  • Stay on top of emerging martech and trends relevant to the home services ecosystem
  • Model energy, focus, and accountability; you set the standard for getting things done well
Requirements
  • 7+ years in growth or demand generation roles, ideally in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • A hands-on approach to building, executing, and measuring paid and organic campaigns
  • A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team-first mentality
Bonus points
  • Leadership or mentorship experience
  • Experience marketing to SMBs
  • Experience in startup or high-growth settings; you’re comfortable with ambiguity and speed
Conclusion

The range of base salary for the position is between $133,300-$186,600 plus equity, and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies.
