Sr HSE Manager

In this role, you will impact our organization by overseeing the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs that ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders will ensure that HSE considerations are integrated into business processes and decision-making will contribute to the overall success and reputation of our business as a responsible and sustainable organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HSE strategies that align with the organizations mission, ensuring a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility
• Lead and manage a team of HSE professionals, including engineers, specialists, and support staff, ensuring efficient and effective HSE engineering practices
• Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications
• Stay updated on changing regulations and industry best practices
• Develop and implement proactive safety measures, training, and policies to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses in the workplace
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards, providing engineering solutions and preventive measures
• Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans for HSErelated incidents, including accidents and environmental emergencies
• Develop and manage the HSE budget, allocate resources, and seek cost-effective solutions to maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental protection
• Promote environmental sustainability by implementing ecofriendly practices and minimizing the environmental impact of the organizations operations
• Establish and enforce quality control standards in HSE engineering, conducting regular inspections and performance assessments
• Collaborate with various internal departments, senior management, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, training, and education on HSE matters

YOU MUST HAVE

• 6+ years of experience in HSE Engineering
• 6+ years of leadership and direct team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities.
• Certification in HSE or a related field is a plus
