IPH is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Manager of Benefits. Under the direction of the Senior Director, Total Rewards, this role is responsible for building a benefits program, aligning health & welfare across multiple brands, and delivering a best-in-class employee experience. This role will oversee all areas of benefits design and administration, including policies, procedures and compensation/benefits systems harmonization in the U.S.

As an integral part of our People Operations team and a trusted partner to business leaders and employees, you will help shape the way we deliver benefits information and service to the organization. You’ll be an integral part of the team driving an awesome employee experience through building benefit programs that support IPG’s ability to recruit & retain talent, drive employee engagement, and achieve business performance goals. This is a hands-on role and will have responsibility for frontline employee experiences.

Job Location: Hybrid - Scottsdale, AZ or Chicago, IL

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with the People Operations team, Finance and Leadership teams to build the strategic design and execution of the company’s benefits program.

  • Experience with benefits self funded plans and implementation of benefit self funded plans.

  • Contribute to the design of the company’s benefits programs including health, welfare, wellness and retirement programs.

  • Develop communications plans to ensure programs are well understood, administered equitably and market aligned.

  • Ensure compliance by conducting 401k audits and ensuring compliance with all benefits areas.

  • Establish and measure key benefit program metrics. Regularly benchmark company programs and monitor external trends to proactively adjust company plans and programs to ensure market competitiveness.

  • Play a key leadership role in M&A integration.

  • Implement annual open enrollment program across brands.

  • Create benefit dashboards and support the data driven culture and mindset within the People Operations organization.

  • Cultivate and foster strong relationships with business leadership – educate and instill awareness of the strategic offerings.

  • Provide ongoing mentorship, training, and development to Employees and the finance team.

  • Be a culture carrier by living and modeling the organization’s values.

  • Monitor current trends and innovations in benefits practices, make recommendations and implement new programs and policies as appropriate.

  • Manage a small team of benefits specialists and leave of absence benefit partners.

  • Manage Leave of Absence cases and partner with benefit vendors to ensure compliance requirements are met.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or related field

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in and benefits design and implementation in a progressive, high growth and results oriented insurance and/or tech environment

  • 401k Audit and plan management experience required

  • M&A experience preferred

  • LOA experience preferred

  • Experience building and implementing benefits programs for a growing organization

  • Experience deploying HR tech solutions
