With an aggressive growth trajectory, our Commercial team is growing! We are hiring a Director, Customer Success to report to the CRO and play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our CS function, bringing a strong vision and building scalable, repeatable systems and processes.

About The Role

This is a new and key leadership position reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer with a direct impact on revenue and customer satisfaction. The primary success metric for this role will be growing existing customer revenue through distribution of additional products as well as maintaining strong customer retention.

To drive our mission forward, this role will:

  • Run a high-impact team: Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers to exceed revenue and customer success goals. Hire, onboard, and ramp new team members as needed.

  • Drive Revenue: Own and achieve revenue targets tied to growth from existing customer accounts through upsell, cross-sell, and increased program adoption.

  • Build strategies and processes: Help customers maximize the value of SafeLease insurance solutions by analyzing customer performance and engagement data.

  • Collaborate internally: Work closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing, and RevOps to align customer success initiatives with company growth objectives.

  • Design and implement systems: Develop account plans and success playbooks that drive revenue and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Support customers: Serve as a customer-facing senior point of escalation for key accounts.

About You

With a heavy sales focus, someone excited to carry a revenue target and consistently exceed team quotas will be a great fit.

You’ll bring these skills and strengths:

  • 5+ years of direct experience in Customer Success, Account Management, and/or Sales, ideally in insurance, insurtech or a related field

  • 2+ years experience managing individual contributors with stats that to show your excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills

  • Strong track record of driving revenue growth from existing customer bases (upsell, cross-sell, renewals)

  • Data-driven mindset with experience using Salesforce, Gong and other CS tools

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both internal teams and customers.

  • Interest and experience in insurance and/or commercial real estate

  • Ability to successfully work and lead teams remotely or, if based in the Austin area, a willingness to be in the downtown office on a hybrid schedule
